Pump Street Apartments, No. 2 Pump Street, contains three two-bedroom, two bathroom apartments located on the first, second, and third floors of a historic listed heritage building in the commercial heart of the Walled City. Pump Street is considered to be one of Derry’s most intact eighteenth century streets.  Each of these bright, well equipped units, with quality finishes, meet the highest standards.  All three apartments have a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a twin bedroom, (two single beds) with a separate bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a living room/dining room.


Apartment A, on the first floor is accessible by the stairs only. Apartments B and C are served by stairs and a lift which operates between the first and third floors. Rear bedrooms open out on to small balconies. All bedrooms have TVs, as do the living rooms. There is also free WiFi access in each apartment.  Pets are welcome at no extra cost. A gas-powered central heating system provides warmth and comfort even on the coldest nights.


The original staircase, the carefully restored fireplaces and the antique beams on the top floor supporting the roof, all of which have survived the ravages of time and modernisation, provide a brief glimpse into the past of this house. A contemporary mosaic in the first floor stairwell by a local artist provides a modern counterpoint to the nineteenth century structure.


 Because of its central location, car parking is restricted in Pump Street to one hour during weekday working hours (8am-6.30pm). However, there is a low-cost car park located in nearby Bishop Street (about two minutes’ walk). Restaurants, shops, and pubs are all within easy walking distance of No. 2 Pump Street. These apartments provide an ideal base from which to explore Derry/Londonderry, Donegal ,  the Giant’s Causeway on the Antrim coast, and the North West of Ireland.
